It's amazing how some things that last for decades: from time to time I look in my "memory box", a very old one, which is still made of wood! There is not much that is still present, but that I would like today to show some time!
would be there first a children's apron my mother (geb.1917) with the matching doll apron, as it was then so common:
Everything still sewn by hand, the round inserts are crocheted! For dolls apron exists also the dress, the same had my mother, I've even put my old doll
has also been preserved in a carefully crafted Petticoat:
The baby shirt my husband has his mother nor himself all sewn, the edges were crochet or tatting lace-made provided:
you are made of very fine batiste, front monogram was used as a "J" embroidery! I am considering only whether the tip is not yet at the neck was a bit krabbelig?
The apron belonged to my mother (born 1917) and the little one belonged to her doll!
Everything made by hand! The petticoat too is very old, even made by hand! The doll is my old one but the dress is from the doll my mother had had as a little girl! There had been the same dress for her but this one no longer exists ...
The little baby-shirts were made by my husbands mother, with laces round the neck and arms and a stitched "J" in front!
